    Q. What bugs might I see with TPTCC?
    A. None. We don't make mistakes... :) Actually, there are several...
    AI and player carfiles have different ride heights This is a bug with the original game, and we can do nothing about that.

    Damage modeling is not implemented The next major version release will have it, though.

    Damage box is not quite correct Cars may make contact with other cars before apparent physical contact is made. Be careful online.

    Q. How do I connect online to other drivers using TPTCC?
    A. Just select "TPTCC" from your main screen, and then go into multiplayer. Servers that are hosting TPTCC races will be available to you, although the chat (on Sierra) is generic.

    Q. If I install TPTCC will it mess up other mods? Do I have to delete version 1.3?
    A. No it will not. Papyrus made N2003 where different mods could co-exist (YAY!). The only thing is that we also install sound, so if you have previous sounds, you may want to move them or not install TPTCC sound, or use the D3PP option. You do not have to delete version 1.3, version 2.1 installs into a separate folder.

    Q. How can I make a track "TPTCC compatible"?
    A. Here are the lines to add to your track.ini. NOTE: Since TPTCC is in it's early stages, be aware that the AI values may need to be modified. If you think something needs to be changed, let us know, and tell us why.

    [ track_pta ]
    track_tire_heat = 0.95
    track_tire_wear = 1.20
    track_tire_wear_loss = 0.10
    track_tire_wear_exp = 1.05
    track_asphalt_grip = 1.00
    track_concrete_grip = 1.05

    This is for the AI track records

    [ pta ]
    record_lap_time = 52.783
    record_holder = Boris Said

    This is for the AI

    [ ai_track_pta ]
    ai_accel_modifier = 1.08
    ai_decel_modifier = 0.88
    ai_fuel_use = 1.00
    ai_grip_modifier = 1.00
    ai_drag_modifier = 0.88
    ai_qual_modifier = 1.30
    ai_tire_wear_left = 0.59
    ai_tire_wear_right = 0.61

    Q. I've installed TPTCC and I can't see how to run it...what's wrong?
    A. For one, it does not have an executable...just run N2003 as normal. At the bottom, you should see a selector that says "NASCAR Cup" or whatever. click the arrows until it says "TPTCC (version number)". If you do not have this selector, you need patch your NASCAR 2003 to version 1.2.0.1. No physics mods will work unless this patch is applied. See our patch page or the TPTCC download page for the link.

    Q. How can I uninstall TPTCC or the sound?
    A. Very easy. Delete the \series\tptcc folder, and delete all the .wav files from your \sound folder if you installed the sound. If you installed sound with the D3PP option, delect the \sound_tptcc folder. Done.

    Q. My paintjobs are really wierd...how do I get them in the sim?
    A. If you have a TPTCC version 1.3 car, it might be wrapped to the wrong body. Use this
    car converter to get it mapped to the correct body. However, make sure there are not version 2.1 cars in the same folder! As well, you cannot import paintjobs through the ingame paintshop. You can import them as a .tga using the "Import" buttons in the competitors menu, or you can use Winmip2 to import the paintjob.

    Q. How can I make new things for TPTCC?
    A. Easy! Just submit it to us through our forums our let us know on our feedback page!

    Q. What will we see next from TPTCC?
    A. Good question! The first thing will be to incorperate damage modeling for the current cars. We're planning several things. We're not quite sure yet if we'll use more than 4 carshapes in our next major release, as it could be quite a pain for users to change cars. If we do, it may require custom tools for the user to be able to do all the things they currently can do in the sim. However, we're looking towards releases that have the German DTM cars, and also Aussie V8s. After that, we're not sure...

    Q. Will you all be releasing free TPTCC compatible tracks?
    A. Done! More on the way! If you want to know what will make a track "TPTCC compatible", ask us, and we'll be posting that information in the future.

    Q. Why are there only 2 makes? I saw pics with FIVE cars!
    A. Yeah, well, we lied. Actually, we didn't lie, you are looking a future versions of TPTCC. Version 1.3 has only 2 cars (or 4, if you count online/offline), so you're going to have to be happy with that. Or not.

    Q. What did you mean by "brewed with the finest natural ingredients?"
    A. We dunno. Maybe we could use a beer.  ¤
