Whats the latest version of the installer?
The latest version to date is version 2.0. You can check the version by finding the TPTCCv2.EXE file and looking at it's properties.
Where are my files backed up to?
Backups of the cars.dat, layout.dat, calendar and main.dat can be found in the /TPTCC (install) directory as .nc2 files. Rename them and replace them in their proper directories to restore original files. Or you can delete them to save space if you so choose.
Error - NASCAR II crash upon starting
Most likely due to more tracks in the tracks directory upon startup. The NASCAR II v.1.02 is limited to 32 tracks in the tracks directory. If you have more, you need to remove some to allow N2 to start. Other possible problems have nothing to do with the TPTCC install, namely, something else with control of the sound card, not enough memory, and N2 will crash if you attempt to race and do not have a correct driver's list loaded.
If you continue to have problems with the installer, use these versions to install TPTCC. Follow the instructions in the read.me file. Please email us with the problems you had with the installer version.
