Though I stayed quiet for most of the race, I posted a 13th and actually FINISHED. no DNFs this time. My hats off to the Yankee (Tim). I spun behind you and of my own doing (dumb mistake on my part) yet you were gentleman enough to wait and give me a spot back on track even though you didnt need to.Cudos my brother....very very cool of you....Love havin fun with ya.

Congrats to the winners, A and B.

Well what can I say. Only really about 15 laps practice before race. So I decided not to qualify. I even let Rogier go at the start, cause I didn't feel right about going into turn 1 and knowing he's a group A driver, it was I am not racing him for position. It took me a few laps to get into a groove and I slowly got ahead of Jerry, Mike and the early pit stop guys. Then the first of my dumb errors happened. I ran wide coming onto the front straight. I saved it and kept going on, but I know it frustrated me going into turn 1. A few laps later I was ahead of Jeff Sorenson and was gonna let him go, same theory as Rogier. However I ran too wide going to oak tree, then thru oak tree the car spun to the rail on the left side of the track A couple of laps later I spun in the same spot and decided that it's time to pit and changed my strategy, from basically a splash and go to tires and some gas, no damage fix. Not sure if the not fixing damage had anything to do with it, but the car did start to handle real sluggish at times and loose in other spots. Needless to say I got great hang time twice once coming out of the left hander to oak tree. The other the right hander just after the backstraight. I honestly could not for a few minutes get out of that spot, and got real mad til it finally moved. To finish I was happy, though I was upset with the selection of the track.

Next time we run here, lets make sure that the bugs are fixed. There are holes, and uneven grassy areas that make mistakes real glaring

Ya gotta point these out. I'll make a v5.1 update that corrects these...

Cheers!

Jan I think this has to do with low poly grassed area's with undulations, A high point in the grass hits a undercarriage point of the car (this doesn't seam to happen with slow speeds,), the car goes no further, causing it to flip.
Sometimes the cars fine if it doesn't hit to hard on it's side or roof, sometimes it's a mess.

More poly's in these areas or find the individual culprits and fix them sounds like a big job. It would need a lot of running around on the grass. Jim put a post in the dev forum on this issue.

Cheers Gary
