You read the title correct. Two of the oldest leagues in Sim Racing have been discussing a challenge series. We are looking to start mid October.

Parts from Ced's post at PORRS:

It will be a five race series with one race a month. Two races will be with the TPTCC NAGT mod, two races will be with the PORRS Enduroseries mod and one wild card mod for the finally.

The TPTCC gets to pick the tracks for the NAGT races.
PORRS gets to pick the tracks for the Eundurance races.
Both will vote on the finally.

Currently we are looking at holding the race on an off TPTCC race nights which would be Friday Night at 10:30 est. We may try to bump this up to 10:00.

We are looking at even participation among classes. For example, if 5 A class drivers from PORRS joins, we would be looking for 5 A class drivers from the TPTCC. The same would go for the B's.

Red Weasel Racing's James Bowders has stepped up and sponsored the Trophies, from his generous donation I decided to match him so we will have trophies for 1st - 5th in each class.
We are looking at limiting it to a total of 28 drivers that are committed to finishing the series. There will also be for bragging rights, The league winner virtual trophy.

If you can't make a race you will be allowed to submit a substitute. But that person must drive your car and will only be eligible for league points. If after two races you feel you can't make the rest. You may submit a substitute driver and that driver will inherit your point total.

Race dates listed would be tentative at this point.

Nov 18 weekend
Dec 16 weekend
Jan 14 weekend
Feb 18 weekend

The NAGT races likely held on our server. The Enduroseries races likely held on thier server.
Final race server to be decided.

questions...
this suggests a contest between best of both leagues competing for prizes..., not sure i'm clear on the purpose.
it's a limited slots available event, 14 drivers only from each league, 7 each class = 28 total (as of now: 4 A slots left here)... all we see here are tptcc drivers, can the other league signups be included here?
whats a wildcard mod? has it already been selected or will there be a vote or something?
can drivers use any car any time?

I know for the PORRS league the two different classes run two different well... classes. P1 and P2 cars. Will our two different classes be sorted into their two different classes for those races? Will P1 and P2 there get sorted into A and B here?

Can the 'make up mod' be GT1 and GT2? Pretty please
