Rogier de Klein looked to put a lock on the championship by winning race 1 and John Graf was relegated to 26th after an incident. However, race two swapped the positions when John won the race and Rogier was discoed.

In Group B, Jan Kohl got his first race win in 2010 by putting his Aston up front for a win in race 1, Rob Thaeler was close on his tail for 2nd. However, race two mirrored the Group A results in that Jan ended up 2nd, and Rob took the win in his Mustang.

Chris Squier took his Aston to his first TPTCC race win at Watkins Glen in Group B. He pushed to a 6 second lead over Jeff for the win. John Graf kept up the pressure on Rogier by winning in Group A.

The 60 minute race at Riverside ran into a deluge of problems, causing the race to be run for 30 minutes instead of 60. However, that didn’t stop John Graf and Jeff Sorensen from washing up the field and taking the respective top spots in Group A & B.

The TPTCC league took to the Quinn Racing Park GT circuit at the last meet, and newcomer Group B driver Nathan Block took the pole in his Volvo. But that’s where it ended…

Four winners in four different cars were crowned in the two Eastern Creek sprint races. Brian Hassett (Volvo) and John Graf (Corvette) took the wins in Group A, while in Group B it was Rob Thaeler (Mustang) and Gord Rogalsky (Porsche) taking the checkers.
Rogier still hangs on to the Group A lead with an 11 point margin while Ted Mannes has moved into first place in the Group B driver standings.
